Meal Verification
What Makes a Meal Plantee?
Quick Intro
What happens after you post a meal and how Plantee decides whether it can be counted.
Last updated March 11, 2026
After you post a meal, Plantee reviews the submission before rewards are finalized. The goal is not to judge your intentions. The goal is to confirm, from the photo itself, that the meal can be counted as verified plant-based impact.
That means decisions are based on what is clearly visible in the image, not on hidden ingredients or claims that cannot be confirmed from the photo.
What we look for
- The meal looks visibly plant-based.
- The photo shows a complete meal rather than a single side or snack.
- The image is clear enough for the meal to be reviewed confidently.
Why this matters
Plantee is built around verified impact rather than self-reported impact. That means the platform needs evidence that can be seen, not assumptions about what may or may not be in the dish.
This approach is designed to be more honest, more consistent, and easier for users to understand over time.
